The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a notification for the recruitment of Junior Engineers and other technical positions across various zones of Indian Railways. The recruitment drive aims to fill 7,951 posts, including Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant, Chemical Supervisor (Research), and Metallurgical Supervisor (Research).

RRB RECRUITMENT 2024: WHEN TO APPLY?

The online application process will start on July 30, with the last date to apply being August 29. Interested candidates must apply through the active link on the RRB zone website relevant to their area.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Age limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 36 years old.
• Educational qualification: Applicants should hold a degree or diploma in civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics, or telecommunication engineering.

HOW TO APPLY

• Visit the official RRB website for your zone.
• Click on the JE recruitment link once activated.
• Register with your application number and date of birth.
• Fill out the application form.
• Pay the application fees.
• Download and save the acknowledgement form for future use.

RRB RECRUITMENT: APPLICATION FEE

• The application fee is Rs 500 for general candidates
• For SC, ST, economically weaker sections, and female candidates, the fee is Rs 250
• A fee of Rs 250 is required for any corrections in the application form

SELECTION PROCESS

• Stage 1: Computer-based examination.
• Stage 2: Computer-based examination.

INDIAN RAILWAY JOBS: SALARY DETAILS

Selected candidates for the Junior Engineer position will receive a basic salary of Rs 35,400 per month, along with various allowances and benefits.
